2021 MSBL Champions Westwood U15 Team

On a glorious summer evening last Friday in Westwood, The U15 North Champions Westwood took on the South Division Champs Weymouth for the 2021 MSBL Crown. The Green Machine was ready and started off tremendously quick piling up 10 runs over the first 4 innings. Led by the dominating pitching of Finn Cahill and explosive top to bottom hitting early on, it looked like they were on their way to certain victory. Weymouth was scrappy and determined and chipped away each inning at the lead until Cahill hit the pitch count limit and surrendered the ball to Chase Longo in the bottom of the 7th. Weymouth had the tying runs on base until Longo shut them down striking out the last batter to seal the deal. Pictured (l to r back) are Coach Leahy, Chase Longo, Jack Holland, Finn Cahill, Thomas Warren, Curren Sherring, Luca Castaldini, Coach Bertone, Coach Cap.
